On Wednesday we were the Lalondes and on Thurday we were Gamzee and Karkat. Yay!
The endless majesty to be found in the paring of these to Lalonde girls is a thing of beauty. On the left, Rose Lalonde, gothic and complex. She has a strange relationship with her seemingly crazy mother, and prefers to delve into the dark arts of her Grimoire.
On the right, we have the fun loving and heavily intoxicated Roxy Lalonde. Having never known her mysterious and wizard-obsessed mother, she drinks herself into a heavy stupor and b hasam been knownn to get jind a opf sloppy wiht her ttypiong when drun k (so all the tiem, wonk wonk ;0)
Here we have me as Karkat again. I quickly made a long sleeve version of the shirt, which is more accurate, but it came out sloppy. ehhhhhhhh i dont care Karkat is good no matter what.
Here we see some of Karkat's interests: Romance films, hatred, yelling and pouting.

Hi guys! It's Ana-tama here. So I'm finally starting a real cosplay on this blog, or at least my first serious one, hopefully involving wigs and full makeup eventually. I'm going to be doing Meenah, from Homestuck!
So I've started getting to work on this! Today, I took some tinfoil and squished and bent them into the approximate shape of her horns, and then went over them in a thin layer of Crayola air-dry clay.
So, if you were unaware, the anniversary of Homestuck was a few days ago and we are celebrating by casually cosplaying the whole week. This is what you've missed yesterday and today. (Also lots of dumb jokes.)

John and Dave have been best bros for forever, but everyone and their mom knows that they both are completely in love. If you don't ship JohnDave, the general rule is that you havent read enough homestuck yet. Also, you know the ship is strong when the real-life love interest of MadDog (<3) starts shipping us and has to leave before it gets weird.
What is this blog anyway?
Hello people who are reading this. My name is MadDog. Who would've guessed?! Basically this is a blog that will show a group a teenagers attempting to dress as fictional characters. We go to conventions, have sleepovers, do photoshoots, and sometimes end up making our cosplays (the outfits) over the course of just a week before we need to have them finished by without having any experience in sewing at all. (That sentence is the true story of last week. Hella.) For now, I suppose that that's all you need to know. Check out our first cosplay below.
Attack on Titan at Anime Boston 2014
So for Saturday at Anime Boston last week, we had planned on all going as character's from the hit series, Attack on Titan. The plan was: I would be Levi, Emma would be Hanji, Emily would be Annie, Danni would be Sasha, and Ana-tama would be Petra. Well, Ana-tama ended up not being able to attend and we just never got around to making Emily's so only three of us actually ended up cosplaying. So the lovely MadDog has been converted into a Homestuck by none other than myself, and for Christmas she made me some new Vriska Serket horns. (MadDog's Tutorial) That being said, I had to take pictures.
